NOLA Aikido at Do Whatcha Wanna stage

NOLA Aikido will host a demonstration at 2014 New Orleans Earth Day Festival.

Learn to deflect attackers and promote peace with NOLA Aikido.

We’re very pleased to announce that NOLA Aikido “A Martial Art of Peace for Every Body” will be returning this year to do an interactive aikido demonstration at the Do Whatcha Wanna Stage!  Join the demo to get an introduction to aikido – an ancient Japanese martial art in which practitioners defend themselves while also protecting their attacker from injury.  This is done by turning and leading the attacker’s momentum into a throw or pin.

Stay tuned for the Do Whatcha Wanna stage schedule to learn when the demo will be performed!
